Baratte - Dark Brown Wood - SOLD
A "Baratte", a little chest used to make butter ("Beurre") by simply pouring milk into it and then turning the handle to churn it until the smooth and creamy butter cream slowly appears. Ask any French person and they will tell you that "Beurre de Baratte" tastes the best!
Of course, its purpose has long changed: we bought this example in the little village of Saint-Cézaire on the hillsides overlooking the French Riviera (South East part of France) and the previous owners were using it as an unusual side table in their living room.
The possibilities are endless to turn it into the talking point of any room! We have two models to choose from.
