French Regency (1700-1730) Style "Bombe" Chest of Drawers

A French Regency (1700-1730) style "Bombe" (from the French "Bombée" meaning "curved") commode with four drawers, brass mounts and Verde Val d'Aosta Italian green marble top.


Well-shaped bombe body with geometric design and matching walnut central panels. The whole raised on shaped cabriole legs that terminate in brass sabot feet.


This beautiful piece was purchased in the city of Entraigues-Sur-La-Sorgue in Provence (South-East part of France). It would easily find its place in a boudoir or business such as a hair salon or spa.
