SOLD - Early 1800s "Buffet" (sideboard), in the same family since it was made. 
 
It was purchased in the city of Martigues (French Mediterranean Coast) from a 94yo elegant lady who remembers it being used by her great grandmother!
 
Upper apron decorated with a carved star design. Lower apron decorated with a large carved flower design. Two doors with original key opening on storage split by middle shelf and covered in yellow Provençal fabric. It stands on Louis XV-style feet and presents a gorgeous natural patina! Traditional wood pegs construction.
