Peugeot Coffee Grinder - SOLD
SOLD - The wooden model, although a bit battered by the years, is a very interesting example: most Peugeot coffee grinders still in existence were made by "Peugeot Frères" (Peugeot Brothers) and bear the company's Lion logo. But this one is an earlier and therefore rarer model made by "Peugeot & Cie" (Peugeot & Company) before it merges with Peugeot Frères in 1933. And as such, it does not bear a Lion but an Elephant, the official logo of Peugeot & Cie. Another difference with more mainstream models is that it was made in Pont De Roide instead of Valentigney (both in the North East part of France). One last detail is the oak acorn-shaped screw at the top: it's another trademark of genuine models!
